TÜV SÜD has been doing business in China for nearly 25 years, and started its operations in Beijing in 1997. The Beijing Branch office was established in 2004 to meet the growing business need. In 2006, the business expanded to the northern region in China with Beijing as the hub. With a focus on local collaboration and training local technical experts, TÜV SÜD Greater China’s business operations offer Industry Service, Product Service, Management Service as well as automotive services. With its global expertise and network of experts, TÜV SÜD acts as a bridge to help local enterprises overcome technical barriers in promoting their products in the global market.
Over the last 25 years, TÜV SÜD has actively supported the development of the local testing and product certification industry in addition to its focus on services supporting the domestic export industry. With improved market maturity, the market itself is increasingly playing a more dominant role in the distribution of resources while the role of the government is also undergoing a major transformation. In the future, it is expected that third-party testing and certification bodies will be able to complement and coordinate with the government in terms of market supervision and quality control to promote overall awareness of quality.
In accordance with the company’s development needs, TÜV SÜD Beijing Branch relocated to a more spacious and comfortable environment at M Building, No.7 Wangjing Ring Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, P.R. China. The larger office also establishes an efficient service network with Beijing as the hub supported by offices in Harbin, Changchun, Shenyang, Dalian, Tianjin, Jinan, Qingdao and Xi'an. The network covers the entire Northeast, Northwest and North China, as well as Shandong Province. With this well-established service network, TÜV SÜD is able to provide clients in the Northern China with professional and efficient one-stop service for local training, product testing and certification.
