First of all, I would like to thank you all for your trust and cooperation in the past year.
The year 2016 is a special one for the TÜV SÜD Group as we celebrate our 150th anniversary. What started with the explosion of a steam boiler in a brewery in Mannheim on 7th January 1866 is now a corporate group with over 24,000 employees worldwide. With this, we look back on a long history of success.
Maintaining and strengthening our personal customer contacts and business relations is very important to us. As such, we operate in an international business environment and will continue to strive for individual and customised customer service. With focus on innovations, expansion of our services and process improvements, we look optimistically to the future. We will be presenting our initiatives at the InnoTrans 2016 exhibition and are looking forward to having interesting discussions with you. Furthermore, we are keeping up-to-date on recent trends and, in this era of digitalization, will intensify our efforts in the areas of IT-security, also within the rail industry. In this area, we offer interesting trainings for business partners who want to get an overview of possible issues and challenges.
In the ‘Year of Communication’, we look forward to a lively exchange of ideas and the continuation of a good and professional business relationship with you.
At this point, I wish all of you a successful business year in 2016 and I look forward to more exciting and successful projects with you.
With kind regards,
CEO of TÜV SÜD Rail GmbH
