TÜV SÜD Asia Pacific donates EUR 50,000 to Red Cross Japan

Singapore – TÜV SÜD, one of the world’s leading providers of testing, inspection and certification services, recently announced a donation of EUR 50,000 to the Red Cross in support of restoration efforts following the natural disaster that hit Japan on 11 March. TÜV SÜD initiated a month-long donation drive for employees in the Asia Pacific region in which approximately EUR 25,000 was raised and matched 100% by the Company.

“Our hearts go out to those affected by the devastation and we sincerely hope for a swift recovery. Japan holds a special place for us as the location of one of our first ventures in Asia Pacific. TÜV SÜD Japan opened its first office in Tokyo in 1993 and now operates 3 offices across Japan in Tokyo, Kansai and Kanagawa.

TÜV SÜD Japan is back in full operation and will continue to operate at 100% level to support clients and businesses with testing and inspection services targeted at addressing concerns that have arisen in the aftermath of the disaster.
