Rail Assurance and Certification Services

TÜV SÜD Rail is one of the largest providers of safety assurance services to the Rail Industry. We provide a unique range of Consulting, Certification, Testing and Training services to each of the Signalling, Rolling Stock and Infrastructure sectors.

Our services encompass the entire project lifecycle from requirements derivation through to design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and decommissioning.

TÜV SÜD Rail holds many accreditations and approvals and has been assisting rail industry clients for over 40 years to meet their legal and contractual obligations.

We are an approved Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) and have Notified Body status under many European Union Directives including the Rail Interoperability (Number 0941) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directives (Number 1895). We assist rail industry manufacturers and suppliers in China to export their products to Europe and other countries in the world where EN standards apply.
