Understanding the key changes in the new ISO 14001:2015 and their impact on organisations.
ISO 14001 - the international standard for environmental management is the most widely recognised environmental management system (EMS) standard in the world. On 15th September 2015, a new version of the standard was published.
A three-year transition period, commencing on the date of publication, has been defined for the introduction and application of the ISO 14001:2015 standard. During this transition period, both the old and new standards will apply in parallel. After this time, all ISO 14001 certified business must be fully compliant with the updated standard.
