Both IEC 61508 and EN ISO 13849-1 standards are covered, which contain risk assessment processes to generate a Performance Level (PL) value, along with EN 62061 which uses Safety Integrity Levels (SIL).

Christian is a Senior Expert Functional Safety at TÜV SÜD Rail in Germany. He is responsible for the expansion of the activities for INDA (Industrial Automation) and related to Functional Safety Projects since 2004.
Christian is Technical Certifier for Industrial IT Security and INDA and member of IECEE Working Group 2B Industrial Automation.
Mr. Matthias Ramold
Matthias is a team leader for safety components for TÜV SÜD Rail in Germany. He is a Technical Certifier for the Machinery Directive and Safety Components and has many years experience in different safety applications.
Matthias is also a member of the working group DKE/AK 914.0.4 - IEC 61508-2
