Highest increase of hydrogen refuelling stations in Germany worldwide in 2018 again

In Germany, 17 new public refuelling stations started operation in 2018, further consolidating Germany as the country with the second largest public hydrogen refuelling infrastructure globally with 60 public stations, ahead of the USA (42 stations) and only surpassed by Japan (96 public stations). A total of 48 hydrogen refuelling stations were opened worldwide in the past year.

Safety is a central theme in the aerospace industry. Accordingly, the EN 9100 standard sets out a comprehensive quality management system for the sector. This standard has recently been revised and aligned to the latest generation of ISO standards. The EN 9100:2016 standard builds on the DIN ISO 9001 quality management standard and requires a fully traceable recording process across the entire supply chain of a product. Companies also need to define their interfaces with customers and aviation authorities and establish, perform and document verification and validation activities. TÜV SÜD and Hamburg-based company Mankiewicz Gebr. & Co. represent an example of an exceptionally good certification process.
